My family loves smoothies for breakfast. I typically do not like something cold in the morning, but when I make a blender full for my kids and husband, I almost always make too much, so I end up drinking what is left. My family likes the sugar laden smoothies from smoothie shops, so this is my 'sweet' version that doesn't have any added sugar. The flavor reminds me a little of the juicy fruit gum that I loved as a kid.
I keep a mixture of seeds (chia, flax, hemp and sesame) in my sugar bowl. I use them so much more when they are readily available, and they look cute sitting on my counter.
